The best of Korea, brought over together
Eight thousand kilometres from Seoul to Vancouver. We have moved goods along that route for more than fifteen years. We built KGONGOO so that Korean products arrive here at a price that makes sense.
Why we started
Buying Korean goods in Canada meant one of two things: you could not get them at all, or you paid two to three times the Korean price. Working in shipping, we saw that gap every day. The products existed. What cost so much was one person shipping one box.
So we buy together
Enough people together means one shipment, and one shipment means a lower price. Group buying is not a trend here — it is the practical answer to the distance.
How we got here
20+ yrs
Living in Canada
We settled here as first-generation immigrants and grew up alongside the Korean community — close enough to know what it needs and what it misses.
15+ yrs
Shipping Korea to Canada
Customs, freight rates, damage, delays — we have met most of what international shipping can throw at you. That is why we can commit to a date.
Today
KGONGOO
We put that experience to work running a group-buying platform where the community orders together and receives together.
