Privacy Policy
KGONGOO collects personal information only where it is needed to process your order and deliver it. Below is what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
1. What we collect
· Account: name, email, phone number · Guest orders: name, email, phone number · Orders shipped to Korea: recipient name, Korean phone number, Korean address, postal code, customs clearance code · Collected automatically: access logs, browser type, device information
2. How we use it
· Processing group buy participation and orders · Confirming payment and sending delivery updates · Answering your enquiries · Awarding and redeeming points · Sending product and group buy news, only if you opted in
3. Korean shipping details
If you choose shipping to Korea, we collect the extra details customs requires. · The customs clearance code (or resident registration number) is used only for Korean customs clearance. · It is shared only with delivery partners and customs brokers. · It is deleted once delivery is complete and any legal retention period has passed.
4. Cookies and analytics
· Essential cookies keep you signed in. · Google Analytics 4 and Vercel Analytics collect visit statistics. · Analytics data is processed in a form that does not identify you personally. · You can refuse cookies in your browser, though some features may stop working.
5. Retention and deletion
· Transaction records: 5 years after the transaction (Korean e-commerce law) · Account information: until you close your account · Korean shipping details: deleted after delivery and any legal retention period To request deletion, contact admin@kgongoo.com. Information we are legally required to keep will be retained for that period.
6. Third-party services
We use the following providers to run the service. · Supabase — database and authentication · Vercel — website hosting and visit statistics · Resend — order and payment emails · Google Analytics — visit statistics · Delivery partners — shipping and customs in Korea and Canada
7. Children's privacy
KGONGOO does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we delete it immediately.
8. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct, delete, or stop the processing of your personal information at any time. You can edit most of it yourself on My Page, or contact admin@kgongoo.com.
